Terms & Conditions

The ground rules for using this website and working with our studio. Plain language, no surprises.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and set out the general basis on which Elite Home Rebuild provides renovation services. Project-specific terms are always set out in your written proposal and contract, which take precedence over this page.

Scope of these terms

By browsing this website, submitting an enquiry or engaging us for work, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or engage our services.

Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Descriptions of services, materials and finishes are illustrative, and availability may change.

Using this website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or someone else’s personal information without permission.
  • Attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, security or availability.
  • Copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site for commercial purposes.
  • Use the site to send unsolicited advertising or harmful material.

Quotes and proposals

Consultation requests do not create a contract. A project begins only when you accept a written proposal and both parties sign the accompanying contract.

Estimates are prepared in good faith based on the information available at the time, including any survey of the property. Where hidden conditions are discovered — structural issues, outdated wiring, previous work that requires correction — we will explain the situation, provide options and agree any adjustment with you in writing before proceeding.

Scheduling and site access

Proposed start dates depend on material availability, permits and the readiness of the site. We will keep you informed of any change as early as possible.

You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, a safe working environment, and a decision-maker who can approve selections and changes while work is underway. Delays caused by access, decisions or third-party approvals may affect the schedule.

Payments and materials

Payment amounts, stages and due dates are set out in your proposal and contract. Deposits secure materials and scheduling; interim payments are linked to progress on site.

Materials remain the property of Elite Home Rebuild until paid for in full. Where you supply your own materials, we are not responsible for their quality, suitability or delivery timing unless we have agreed to manage them.

We may offer guidance on financing options. We are not a lender, and any lending arrangement is a separate agreement between you and the lender.

Workmanship and warranty

We stand behind our work. Our workmanship warranty, together with applicable manufacturer warranties, is documented and handed to you at completion with care instructions.

Warranty cover relates to defects in our workmanship under normal use and maintenance. It does not cover damage caused by neglect, accidents, alterations by others, or normal wear and movement over time. Keeping your provided care notes valid — for example by maintaining seals, drains and ventilation — is part of that cover.

Changes and extra work

Change requests are welcome and are handled in writing. Before additional work begins, we confirm the scope, the effect on cost and the effect on the schedule. Verbal instructions are documented so there is no ambiguity later.

Cancellation

Either party may end the agreement in accordance with the cancellation clause in the signed contract. Where work is cancelled after materials have been ordered or labour scheduled, you are responsible for costs genuinely incurred up to that point. Any notice requirements in your contract apply.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, photography, illustrations, layout and branding — belongs to Elite Home Rebuild or is used with permission. You may not reproduce it commercially without our written consent.

Drawings, plans and specifications we create for your project are licensed for use on that property. They may not be reused elsewhere or shared with other contractors without our agreement.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided for general information. While we work to keep it accurate and current, we make no guarantee that every detail is complete or up to date, and we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of website content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a project is limited to the value of the work under the relevant contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the jurisdiction in which the property is located, unless your contract states otherwise.

Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page, and the version in force is the one available at the time you use the site or sign a contract.
